Dennis W. Shepherd is the author of both fiction and nonfiction, including Man Woman Other: Memoir of One Man’s Partnership with an Interstellar Alien,The Elephant Lady of Thailand: A True Story, and The Almost Perfect Man, The Vietnam War Seen Through the Eyes of a Deserter. Mr. Shepherd lives in Lexington, Kentucky but winters in Asia. He is also a long-time member of the Kentucky Bar Association as a Senior Counsel. His various interests include discovering the known world with travels to Tibet, Russia, Mongolia, Australia, Nepal and dozens of other countries.
